Sr. Accountant

Rapidly growing company in The Woodlands is looking for an experience Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team! The Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, preparing and reviewing account reconciliations, performing variance analyses, preparing financial reports, cash flow management, and assisting with audit preparations.
Responsibilities
Initiate and prepare the month-end close process
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and debt compliance reporting.
Manage intercompany transactions.
Perform variance analyses and prepare account reconciliations, including assisting in implementing account reconciliation software.
Document and monitor internal controls.
Assist in the review of audit procedures.
Prepare the overhead budget, balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows.
Perform detailed reconciliations of accounts to ensure records are accurate.
Manage vendor payments
Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes and systems for increased efficiency and accuracy.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a minimum of 3 years’ experience, public and corporate accounting experience preferred.
