Sr. Accountant

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Palm City, Florida. As a Sr. Accountant, you will collaborate closely with the Controller, handle month-end closing processes, prepare reports, forecasts, and budgets, and utilize advanced Excel skills for various tasks. You will also be required to work with data and have a solid understanding of accounting principles.

• Collaborate with the Controller on various accounting tasks
• Handle month-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and budgets
• Utilize advanced Excel skills for various accounting tasks and financial analysis
• Work with data to aid in financial decision-making
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and journal entries
• Perform account and balance sheet reconciliations
• Employ Jonas Club Software for various accounting tasks
• Monitor and manage family office accounts.
• Applicant must possess at least one year of experience in a senior accountant role or similar.
• Proficiency in account reconciliation is a must.
• Ability to perform balance sheet reconciliation effectively.
• Experience with bank reconciliations is required.
• Knowledge of general ledger management is essential.
• Applicant should be skilled in creating and maintaining journal entries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.
• Experience with month end close processes is required.
• Familiarity with Jonas Club Software is a desirable attribute.
• Experience in a family office setting is a plus.
