Sr. Accountant

We are in search of a diligent Sr. Accountant or Accounting Manager, who will be a key player in our financial department. This role will be based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota and will involve significant accounting activities, including equity and debt accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement close processes within our fast-paced manufacturing company.

• Drive the annual consolidated audit and quarterly review process.
• Maintain effective internal controls in accordance with SOX regulations.
• Act as a primary contact for external Auditors, managing technical issues as they arise.
• Manage the quarterly reporting calendar in collaboration with the finance and external Audit team.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for internal and external reviews.
• Prepare and review monthly journal entries required for financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Prepare and review monthly reconciliations.
• Assist in financial and administrative processes to ensure compliance with respect to policies, procedures, SOX controls, and relevant regulations.
• Prepare SEC Reporting related to 8-K, 10-Q, 10-K, and other filings as required.
• Prepare and deliver financial analyses for review with the Controller.
• Prepare required cash flow projections and analysis.
• Review existing procedures for efficiency and introduce improved processes.
• Build partnerships and relationships, across the organization and externally, that lead to the highest levels of collaboration and effectiveness.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role as a Senior Accountant
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations
• Demonstrated proficiency in General Ledger management and Journal Entries
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential
• Experience with Month End Close processes
• Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) status is preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
