Sr. Accountant

We are in the process of expanding our team and are seeking a Sr. Accountant in the Engineering industry, located in Spokane, Washington. This role is critical to our organization as it involves creating and posting journal entries, maintaining accounting records, and providing general accounting support.

• Create and post journal entries using appropriate supporting documentation.
• Ensure financial close requirements are met monthly, quarterly, and annually by completing necessary tasks within the defined timeline.
• Uphold accounting records in alignment with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), FASB reporting, Uniform Guidance, and other regulatory standards.
• Provide general accounting support as necessary, including but not limited to AP, AR, Payroll, and filing duties.
• Reconcile cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts.
• Leverage skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, and Month End Close.
