Description:
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr Accounting Analyst in San Francisco, California. As part of our team, you will be contributing to our operations in the Private Equity industry. Your role will involve analyzing valuation summaries, aggregating deal activity, and maintaining accurate accounting records.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed analysis of valuation summaries within the Private Equity or Investment Management sector.
- Aggregate deal activity across the client portfolio, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation.
- Maintain and update accounting records with high precision.
- Analyze potential investment opportunities in accordance with term agreements.
- Perform account reconciliation tasks, ensuring consistency and accuracy in accounting procedures.
- Engage in heavy interaction with the accounting department, facilitating clear communication and efficient operations.
- Utilize your skills in Financial Analysis and Data Analysis to drive decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with CPA standards and regulations in all accounting activities.
- Conduct book entries as a part of day-to-day responsibilities.
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proficient with Private Equity and Private Equity Fund
- Familiarity with Investment Management practices
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required
- Proven experience with Account Reconciliation
- Strong skills in Financial Analysis
- Proficient in Data Analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with relevant accounting software and applications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
