Xometry is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support our accounting team. The successful candidate will possess a strong desire to comprehend complex data problems, work with large data sets, and optimize all reporting and analysis within the accounting department. Furthermore, this individual will leverage their expertise in business intelligence tools to facilitate the expansion of self-service analytics within the accounting team, thereby enhancing their daily operations. The Senior Data Analyst will play a vital role in a rapidly growing sector of the Xometry business and will have a significant impact on the company.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, or relevant experience
  • 4-5+ years of experience within data analytics field
  • Expert in SQL
  • Experience working in the accounting field is preferred but not required
  • Proficient in ETL, data modeling and version control, dbt and GitHub preferred
  • Proficient in Business Intelligence tools, Looker (Core) experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively and influence others
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and shift gears quickly
  • Must be able to work core aligned hours to US Eastern Time / GMT-5

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to understand stakeholder requirements and create end-to-end data solutions
  • Build reports in Looker and other analytical tools
  • Communicate, collaborate, and present results to stakeholders within Xometry
  • Assist with the development of metrics and goals
  • Transform, test, deploy, and document data for business users
  • Organize and maintain key data models used throughout the organization
  • Problem solve oddities within all transformation layers
