This is a hybrid position with in-office flexibility 2-3 days a week.
Summary: We are seeking a talented Senior Retirement Plan Advisor to independently manage the strategic planning, consulting, guidance, marketing, investment analysis and servicing of assigned book of retirement business. Ideally, you will hold or have previously earned a Series 65 license and are open-minded to travel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The below statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to do this job.   • Responsible for relationship management of list of defined contribution retirement plan clients.
  • Serves as first point of contact for clients for issue resolutions, product information, compliance reviews and general support.
  • Establish, maintain, and nurture client relationships (front line and decision makers).
  • Proactively schedule and attend regular meetings with clients to ensure clients’ needs are continually being met.
  • Proactively communicate critical deadlines to clients.
  • Independently consult and advise with clients on complex retirement plan issues.
  • Address, resolve, follow-up and communicate resolutions to clients; update Salesforce to track issues and resolution.
  • Responsible for coordinating data collection and presentation preparation for client meetings.
  • Conduct investment analysis on plan investment options.
  • Coordinate and conduct employee education meetings.
  • Manage all internal reporting/tracking components required of the retirement department including CRM database account set up and upkeep, revenue report preparation, electronic and hard copy file maintenance, etc.
  • Exercise positive interaction and cooperation with internal staff and outside vendors.
  • Participate in team assignments and special projects as needed.
  • Participate in the sales process and finalist presentations.
  • Operate in accordance with established NFP internal protocol and procedures.
  • Understand and represent the services provided by NFP, provide expert advice, develop solutions for current and future project plans, execute strategies to consistently illustrate value and retain existing clients.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years retirement plan relationship management.
  • Strong consultative skills; able to think broadly when problem solving and making decisions.
  • Strong leadership and execution skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple high-priority projects.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain relationships.
  • Series 65.
  • Superior relationship building/management, interpersonal and partnership skills.
  • Presale expertise that can assist in the influence and sale of NFP Retirement services.
  • Demonstrated success in critical thinking; able to analyze data and make effective recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, persuasion, and conflict management skills.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
