Job Description:
The Sr. Analyst position is a role that supports the Team Lead. A person in this role will be a subject matter expert in the various functions performed by the AP Payments team, and also assist with training and performance management among other duties.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Post-secondary education preferred
  • Three or more years of experience in accounts payable
  • Strong technical skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Good knowledge of accounting is an asset
  • Thorough understanding of vendor statement reconciliation
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Motivated self-starter with proven reliability
  • Excellent customer service and time management skills

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the training of new hires and junior staff
  • Support performance management initiatives
  • Help with the review and approval of staff reconciliations
  • Supervising staff in the absence of the team lead
  • Other duties as assigned
