REQUIREMENTS

  • Advanced degree in Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Biophysics, or Structural Biology (PhD or equivalent experience)
  • Extensive background in high-end electron microscopy
  • Experience interacting with customers, service teams, and R&D colleagues
  • Strong communication and inter-cultural skills
  • Ability to work independently and in teams

Responsibilities:

  • Implement innovative single particle analysis workflow strategies to deliver protein and protein complex structures
  • Provide guidance on biochemical and sample preparation strategies
  • Perform sample screening and analysis of images
  • Collect high-resolution data using advanced equipment
  • Maintain and monitor system performance
  • Identify and resolve software and hardware issues
  • Support activities to ensure high-quality results and productivity
