Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE AT BAXTER

The Pricing Manager will support a region as the key contact for pricing strategy, deal management, customer profitability, product profitability, and financial modeling, in a customer-facing capacity. The incumbent will support the commercial team and work with all levels of management, across all Baxter product portfolios and corporate functions. Such as, but not limited to, customer-facing quarterly business reviews, rebate management from start to finish including customer communication, and advisor to business leads to increase profitability.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Lead overall development of all Baxter businesses of deal analysis for RFPs and resigns whilst adhering to internal policies and procedures
  • Manage the RFP/resign pricing process including analyzing, modelling and presenting financial impact to business to ensure the financial and strategic objectives are being achieved
  • Management of all financials during customer-facing contract negotiations
  • Ensure contract terms and conditions related to pricing, incentives, and financial obligations are in compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations
  • Provide support on cross-functional decision making to increase profitably and minimize margin leakage, including offering recommendations on best strategies by demonstrating experience with the entire Baxter portfolio
  • End to end deal management for both internal and external partners
  • Involvement in customer discussions, including presentation of financials and consultation
  • Building relationships with customer’s deal management team to optimize the strategic outcome of contracts and tenders
  • Direct communication with customers when it comes to financial modeling, rebates, value adds
  • Work directly with customers to support audit and compliance reporting requirements
  • Lead contractual incentives program including setup, reconciliations, accruals, and payment calculations while ensuring appropriate internal controls are adhered to and system set up validated
  • Handle BOP/SOP updates as required
