Description:
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
- 6 years of professional software development experience
- 3 years of writing RESTful web services and working with relational databases
- Coding experience with Java and Kotlin
- Experience with Spring
- Experice with highly available, highly performant systems
- Experience in database schema design, infrastructure and SQL
- Experience in NoSQL Databases
- Experience with Unix/Linux environments
- Expertise in design patterns and functional programing
- Familiarity with Networking in the context of server management
- Familiarity with Big Data concepts, inclusive of Hadoops, HDFS or Druid
- Familiarity with concurrency
- Code quality mindset

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the smooth operation of a complex, distribuated system of hundreds of servers (on-premisis)
- Architect and develop performant, highly-available software, carfully optimising systems that handling 1.5 million requests per second providing a response within 120ms]
- Lead complex technical projects from planning to execution
- Coordinate efforts, releases and work with other teams within the organization
- Understand our platform in the context of its business in-depth and drive investigations of issues when they arise
- Mentor other developers in the team
- Provide thought leadership and identify growth opportunities
