Sr Building Maintenance Technician

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
• Trade or Technical school education is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• 2-5 years of proven experience in a facility maintenance with a strong understanding of building systems and equipment.
• Purified water systems experience is a plus
• Extensive knowledge and experience in maintenance and repair techniques for HVAC, plumbing, steam, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues efficiently.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, contractors, and vendors.
• Ability to operate and maintain a wide range of hand and power tools.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects as required.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in facility maintenance, with a focus on promoting a culture of safety.
