Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Business Analyst with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Confluence Jira Scrum Agile Methodologies and Pharmacy Benefit Management. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects that enhance our company’s purpose and societal impact. The position operates during the day shift and does not require travel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis and documentation of business requirements for projects within the Pharmacy Benefit Management domain.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of project documentation using Confluence and Jira.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve business processes and system functionalities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of business processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop user stories and acceptance criteria to guide development teams.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues or risks that arise.
  • Support the development and implementation of new features and enhancements.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and business objectives.
  • Provide training and support to end-users as needed.

Qualifications

  • Possess a strong understanding of Confluence and Jira for project management and documentation.
  • Have extensive experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrate expertise in the Pharmacy Benefit Management domain.
  • Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Show proficiency in developing user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Display strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Have a proven track record of successful project delivery in a hybrid work model.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
