Responsibilities:
WHAT THIS ROLE IS…
As a Senior Business Analyst, the primary function of this position is to collaborate with stakeholders to understand and gather business needs and requirements. Senior Business Analyst is also responsible for translating business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications, documenting, and maintaining clear and comprehensive business requirement documents (BRDs), user stories, use cases, and process flows. You will act as the main point of contact between business stakeholders and the technical team. Your contributions will ensure the success of the Technology department at CITY Furniture.

Location: Hybrid/ Tamarac Corporate Office
Department/Sub-Department: Technology / Tech Product Office
Salary range starting at $72,000.00
WHAT YOU’LL DO…
As a Senior Business Analyst, your primary responsibilities will be:
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for ecommerce projects.
- Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for the development team.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to gather feedback and build consensus on project direction.
- Solution Design & Implementation:
- Work closely with the ecommerce development team to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed business requirement documents, user stories, and use cases.
- Ensure that solutions are aligned with industry best practices and the latest ecommerce trends.
Additional duties and responsibilities as a Senior Business Analyst:
- Project Management:
- Lead and manage small to medium-sized ecommerce projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes effectively.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up to date with the latest ecommerce trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the ecommerce team.
- Mentor and guide junior business analysts and team members.
