SR. CHANNEL SALES MANAGER CDW

Kajeet is seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded individual to join our team as a Sr. Channel Sales Manager CDW (CSM-CDW). The SCSM-CDW will play a crucial role in developing and managing the partnership to drive revenue growth and expand our presence. This position requires a strong understanding of the Channel Reseller and Distribution business together with the telecom and IoT industries, exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to develop and execute channel strategies that align with Kajeet’s business objectives.
As a strategic liaison, you will be responsible for driving sales and developing the partnership for Kajeet’s products and solutions. You will be responsible for executing a vision to build a strategic sales program for CDW. In collaboration with the channel sales and marketing teams, you will drive sales growth, marketing initiatives, technical training, incentives, and events. Additionally, you will work to generate awareness of Kajeet within CDW sellers to sell Kajeet products and services.
The SCSM-CDW will report to the Vice President of Channel Sales for the specific designated partner.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute channel sales strategies to identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within strategic reseller partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners’ key decision-makers, acting as the main point of contact.
  • Conduct market analysis and lead business planning and strategic sales activities specific to CDW.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product management, technical support) to develop and implement joint marketing and sales programs within the assigned partners.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with CDW stakeholders to maximize revenue opportunities and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee contract negotiations and partner agreements to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Perform market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential new business opportunities within the partner ecosystem.
  • Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions to CDW sales teams to promote Kajeet’s products and solutions effectively.
  • Manage the sales cycle from lead generation through opportunity closure, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate forecasting of sales opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze channel performance metrics and KPIs to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay up to date with industry developments and emerging technologies to position our products and solutions competitively within the partner ecosystem.
  • Attending industry conferences, trade shows, and virtual events to network, showcase our offerings, and generate qualified leads.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and channel partner communications in Salesforce (SFDC).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in technology sales, ideally with experience at CDW.
  • Proven work experience as a Channel Sales Executive or similar role, preferably in the Telecom / IoT industry.
  • Strong understanding of positioning offerings, developing, and presenting proposals, value propositions, business cases, and complex deal structuring.
  • Solid technical skills with the ability to engage customers through “consultative selling.”
  • In-depth understanding of IoT technologies, platforms, and solutions.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience building and managing channel partner relationships.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly organized with a results-driven mindset and ability to work independently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in using SFDC software and other sales productivity tools.
  • Preferably located in the Chicago area.
  • Position requires onsite presence at CDW’s offices several times a week.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time for client meetings, conferences, and events.
