WE HELP THE WORLD RUN BETTER
At SAP, we enable you to bring out your best. Our company culture is focused on collaboration and a shared passion to help the world run better. How? We focus every day on building the foundation for tomorrow and creating a workplace that embraces differences, values flexibility, and is aligned to our purpose-driven and future-focused work. We offer a highly collaborative, caring team environment with a strong focus on learning and development, recognition for your individual contributions, and a variety of benefit options for you to choose from.
WHAT YOU BRING
We are looking for a motivated, self-driven, and team-oriented colleague with a strong technical foundation around software engineering, cloud methodologies, containers, and Kubernetes.
In detail, you bring the following qualifications:
Soft skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a team-oriented, collaborative, self-driven, and proactive mindset, affinity for continuous improvement procedures, emphasizing clean code, quality, and system efficiency, enthusiasm for technology, ability to discuss and present technical concepts, proficiency in English and pleasure to work within an international environment.
You are interested in Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies? You like contributing to an active open-source community? Then you will find an inspiring and professional environment for your learning and growth.
As a (Senior) Cloud Engineer/Developer (f/m/d) you will contribute to the Gardener project (gardener cloud), which is also the foundation for a managed Kubernetes service running on multiple cloud providers (public, hybrid, private, and sovereign clouds) in the context of the SAP Business Technology Platform Foundation. You will become part of a team consisting of highly skilled individuals based in Walldorf.
Your primary focus will be on enabling Gardener in restricted and sovereign cloud environments that exist alongside public cloud deployments.
