Description:
We are seeking a Sr. Compensation Analyst based in Rochester, New York. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our compensation programs. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the alignment of our compensation strategy with our organizational goals within the service industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive job architecture framework that aligns with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement job architecture initiatives and ensure alignment with overall HR and business strategies.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on compensation matters, providing guidance to hiring managers and HR partners on job evaluations, salary recommendations, and promotions.
- Conduct regular market analysis and benchmarking to assess the competitiveness of the organization’s compensation packages and ensure alignment with industry standards.
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to develop and implement effective compensation strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Monitor and respond to changes in legislation and regulations that impact compensation practices, providing guidance and expertise on regulatory compliance and best practices related to compensation.
- Lead the annual salary review process, including creating salary structures, conducting benchmarking studies, and recommending adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with the talent acquisition team to develop compelling job offers that are competitive and fair.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or industry
- Proven expertise in Compensation Analysis
- Proficiency in Auditing techniques and methodologies
- Demonstrable experience in managing Benefit Functions
- Knowledge and experience in handling Bonus Program
- Familiarity with Budget Processes
- Understanding of Commision Functions
- Experience in managing Annual Compensation
- Proficiency in Compensation & Benefits management
- Experience in managing Compensation - Base
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, or related field is preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of relevant federal and state compensation laws and regulations
- Certification such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) is a plus.
