Description:
We are looking for a Sr. Compensation Analyst to join our team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will be conducting job analysis, carrying out organizational studies, and preparing pay plans. You will also be administering related compensation functions and maintaining a high level of discretion and judgement in your duties.
Responsibilities
- Conduct salary survey development, distribution, and analysis, and make appropriate recommendations based on the gathered data
- Review compensation data to evaluate the impact of the performance management program on salaries
- Carry out individual job audits and/or group classification surveys
- Prepare position descriptions, audit or survey reports and position evaluations, and recommend classification actions
- Provide recommendations concerning the development of policies, procedures, and improvements to compensation processes
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools effectively for creating spreadsheets or other electronic media to support research and recommendations
- Establish project timelines and meet objectives, keeping customers and the Human Resources Administrator informed of project status and/or deviations from original expectations
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while ensuring effective and efficient use of time
- Adapt to changes in work environment, work priorities, organizational and/or customer needs, and plan, organize and schedule staff and tasks effectively to achieve objectives
- Conduct extensive quantitative and qualitative research and have extensive knowledge of human resource laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficient in qualitative analysis
- Experience in annual compensation management
- Familiarity with conducting compensation surveys
- Expertise in executive compensation
- Knowledge of compensation and benefits
- Understanding of HR law
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using HR related software
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or relevant field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Knowledge of compensation strategies and market trends
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance related to compensation
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
