Description:
We are in the business of providing services and are currently situated in ROCHESTER, New York, 14625-2311, United States. Nick Pignato with Robert Half Rochester is seeking to recruit a Sr. Compensation Analyst to help us manage and improve our compensation programs. This position is vital in ensuring that our compensation strategies align with our business goals and objectives.
SKILLS:
- Proficiency in Payfactors and/or Market Pay, CRM, Epic Software, Fusion, HCM
- Experience in Auditing, Bonus Program, Budget Processes
- Strong Communication skills
- Familiarity with Compensation Administration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation analysis or related HR role
- Proficiency in Payfactors or Market Pay
- Familiarity with CRM, Epic Software, Fusion, and HCM
- Proven experience in Auditing
- Knowledge of Bonus Program and Budget Processes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated expertise in Compensation Administration
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the development and maintenance of a comprehensive job architecture framework that is in line with industry best practices and our business objectives.
- Serve as the go-to expert for all matters relating to compensation, including job evaluations, salary recommendations, and promotions.
- Work closely with HR and business leaders to formulate and implement compensation strategies that align with our organizational goals.
- Regularly perform market analysis and benchmarking to ensure our compensation packages are competitive and conform to industry standards.
- Stay abreast of changes in legislation and regulations that affect compensation practices and provide guidance on regulatory compliance and best practices.
- Oversee the annual salary review process, which involves creating salary structures, conducting benchmarking studies, and recommending adjustments as necessary.
- Facilitate the transition from one compensation software to another, ensuring minimal disruptions to operations.
- Collaborate with the talent acquisition team to develop attractive job offers that are both competitive and fair.
- Lead the design and creation of new job roles and job descriptions based on organizational needs and market trends.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement job architecture initiatives and ensure alignment with overall HR and business strategies.
