What you’ll be doing
As the Senior Analyst, Funding and Liquidity, you will be reporting to the Director, Funding and Liquidity Management. You will provide support to all reporting and planning related to liquidity metrics. This support would include continued optimization and enhancement of the existing funding structures. The strategic funding plan provides a template which assists senior management’s long-term planning process and enables them to execute an optimal funding strategy in which term assets are funding by term liabilities and wholes funding markets are entered to bridge funding gaps.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 3-4 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

Establish technology requirements, reporting frameworks, calculation methodologies/standards, and documentation requirements.
- Technically Skilled- Understand regulatory liquidity metrics, reporting requirements, and the existing liquidity framework. Perform detailed analysis to support regulatory and enterprise stress testing, maintaining awareness of market and business developments impacting the bank’s liquidity exposures. Integrate information from multiple sources to enable more efficient processes, enhanced analysis, and streamlined reporting.
- Stakeholder Management- Recommend and implement liquidity and funding solutions based on thorough analysis of issues, promoting an environment where innovative solutions are utilized for efficient problem resolution. Maintain strong working relationships with critical support partners (e.g., Treasury groups, Operations, Technology, Risk, Audit) to collaboratively pursue priorities and implement process improvements.
