EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, cell biology or similar. A Graduate degree in science preferred but not required.
- MBA in marketing with a scientific background a strong plus
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years bench science experience in cell culture, cell biology, molecular biology, or similar area with extensive experience interpreting scientific data and writing scientific papers
- Minimum of 2 years experience in cell therapy such as CAR-T, MSCs, NK cells
- 5+ years working within the biopharma/biotech industry and experience with upstream process development.
- General knowledge of content marketing or industry standard methodologies for promoting and selling upstream products.
- Experience creating technical marketing content and previous marketing experience a plus
- Understanding the biopharma customer sales journey and experience with voice of customer research
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Teams
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to build alignment and influence cross-functional teams
- Project management and planning skills. Experience with project management software a plus.
- Minimal travel (10%)
