EDUCATION

  • Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred.
  • PMP Certification an advantage.
  • 4 year degree or equivalent required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Shown experience being responsible for a continuous improvement program for manufacturing operations functions (ideally; finance, customer service, etc.).
  • 2+ years experience implementing successful TPS-based system including elements such as; A3 Thinking/Strategy Deployment, Lead Leadership (Daily Accountability, Leader Standard Work, Visual Management), 5S, value stream mapping, standard work, metric boards, stand-up meetings and project funnel coordination.
  • Expertise in problem-solving applying a formal program/process.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to positively influence leadership and all levels of the organization.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fundamental business financial acuity.
  • Strong project management and facilitation skills.
  • Experience working with Microsoft office (Word and Excel), Power BI an advantage.
  • Able to work on-site to drive continuous improvement in operational areas, including connecting cross-functional resources to remove waste along extended value streams.
  • Passion for driving improvement and leading change.
  • Proven track record for developing, training, and mentoring teams.

Responsibilities:

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead/work with critical teams to enhance processes to improve the manufacturing operations experience, enable profitable growth and drive efficiencies.
  • Identifies, develop and project lead productivity opportunities from an end-to-end perspective, in addition to rolling out key global Practical Process Improvements initiatives.
  • Collaborate with key partners to build a continuous improvement culture with key functional teams.
  • Respectfully nurture an action-biased culture of continuous improvement to improve key indicators in the areas of customer, finance, people & quality.
  • Supervise progress of improvement efforts and provide key PPI training in enabling a PPI culture & approach.
  • Validate assumptions and assertions using data and mentor others to make data driven decisions.
  • Measure and report on key performance indicators (leading and lagging) for PPI activities across each function; develop and implement effective corrective action plans in conjunction with key players to address areas of concern.
