Responsibilities:
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in cost engineering within metalwork/machining, preferably from the plastic injection moulding industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Provide technical cost engineering insights to the Engineering organization for efficient part development and manufacturing.
- Data Gathering: Collect and deliver Cost estimates for plastic injection moulds/mould parts, considering raw materials, labor, equipment, tooling, etc.
- Tool Development: Assist in developing a Mould Cost calculation tool, understanding IT system requirements and the components of Should Cost.
- Initiative: Ability to initiate the cost engineering journey from scratch, progressing from inception to excellence.
- Design Support: Aid in Design for Manufacturing optimization within Mould part development.
