We are hiring a Senior Customer Business Manager to support Costco ! You will oversee the Club customer portfolio and drive the creation and execution of Club sales through Omni-channel customer focus, effective joint business planning and collaboration to ensure we are the strategic partner of choice for the category. As the Sr CBM:
Lead business development for total Costco US (national & regional buyers) as well as strategy for Costco Global. Drive global synergies across North American Costco regions (US, Mexico, Canada) and support international expansion across all other global regions Omni channel thought leadership - Driving business both in-store and online. Intensive focus to build relationship with Costco NEXT platform and buying team, internal COE of e-commerce to expand/optimize the .com platform Identify and delivers multi-year growth strategy and platform across all relevant brands. Provide key-inputs on white-space and future innovation opportunities. Able to identify category selling opportunities and deliver category based selling stories to Costco domestically and globally Strong driver of customer agenda Build strong customer relationships that result in partnership opportunities, which drive sales, market share and profit. Deliver account objectives with in trade spending parameters. Equally build strong internal cross-functional relationship that will assist in delivering business objectives Responsible for all aspects of customer development including opportunity identification, relationship management, broker management, customer service interface Develop and own account specific promotional plans to ensure achievement of account growth goals and develop ongoing customer plans that are in alignment with corporate and customer goals. Develops and delivers strategic selling, assortment, promotion, pricing plans Lead Joint Business Planning where applicable Leverage forecasting and planning tools, analytics, insights and KPI reports Sales and trade forecasting and budget management responsibilities
Experience Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of sales and/or broker experience within CPG industry Previous successful national retail account management experience (Costco preferred) Skills in driving the business both in-store and though eCommerce Demonstrates delivery of sales targets, forecasting and trade budget management Understand a P&L and impacts from basic decision making can have on P&L Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
