Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, Sustainability, Environmental Management or Business
- 4+ years’ experience in corporate finance, internal controls, external reporting, sustainability, or ESG, with individual responsibility for deliverables
- Numerical aptitude and analytical skills, ability to manage large datasets, develop insights amidst rapidly changing requirements and expectations

Required Skills:
- Experience in GHG emissions accounting (scopes 1, 2, 3), ESG data collection and consolidation, internal controls and report writing
- Understanding of ESG and non-financial regulatory and reporting frameworks, such as EU CSRD (European Union Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive), familiarity with
- Highly organized and results-oriented with demonstrated experience in managing large datasets, drafting clear and engaging narratives, presenting ideas to stakeholders at different levels

Responsibilities:
SHI is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a critical Sr. Data Analyst – ESG Programs role. This new role reports to the Associate Director, ESG Programs in the broader Business Assurance team. This individual will work closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders in driving company-wide ESG performance, analysis and disclosure. This role is expected to enhance the control framework for all ESG metrics and prepare the company to comply with ESG reporting regulations. The candidate will have a hybrid work arrangement, with at least two days working from SHI HQ office in London

Responsibilities:
Including but not limited to:
- Conduct annual GHG emissions inventory and prepare regulatory and voluntary disclosures on climate and the environment, including CDP and EcoVadis, take part in development of transition plans in relation to target emissions categories (waste, travel, supplier engagement)
- Implement SHI’s ESG Reporting Roadmap with a goal to comply with CSRD by 2026 (based on FY2025), including taking part in requirements planning, stakeholder onboarding and support, data collection and consolidation using diverse digital platforms and tools
- Advance internal control environment for ESG metrics in partnership with Internal Audit and be a focal point for independent limited assurance of ESG data
- Lead the preparation and review of the Annual Sustainability Report and related communications, including content planning and liaison with designers and editors
- Coordinate high-quality submissions to EcoVadis, CDP and other external transparency initiatives, address customers’ requests on climate and ESG matters
- Proactively monitor evolution in the ESG external environment and actively engage with regulators, experts, industry players & other key stakeholders to understand trends in ESG accounting, disclosure, and reporting requirements and apply them at SHI
- Lead and/or contribute to strategic ESG initiatives, such as development and implantation of SHI’s decarbonization strategies to achieve the science-based climate targets, development of tools to provide carbon and ESG insights to SHI’s customers

Additional Information:
- Business working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 with a 30-minute lunch break. However due to the nature of the role, with its international reach and shared projects, working outside of these hours to service business needs will occur occasionally, and employees are expected to be readily available in these eventualities.
