Description:
EDUCATION (DEGREE/MAJOR):
- Bachelor’s degree (4-year program) preferred.
YEARS OF RELATED EXPERIENCE:
- 6+ years’ experience in data analysis or related area.
- 4+ years of data analytics in healthcare field, preferred experience with claims data, value-based care, population health management, and/or clinical networks.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Prior analytics work with healthcare data required.
- Proficiency with SQL required.
- Familiarity with “modern data tooling” (e.g., dbt, Snowflake, AWS, Stitch, Fivetran, etc.)
- Experience maintaining business intelligence tools (e.g., Sigma, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- Experience working with large, complex healthcare data sets.
- Understanding of population health analytics, and an understanding of clinical and claims-based data systems and measures.
- Strong data manipulation and analysis skills.
- Detail oriented, strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple demands.
- Highly intelligent; possesses very strong analytic and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting with individuals having diverse professional backgrounds including business, technical and/or clinical.
- Experience with Clinical Integrated Network, Independent Physician Associations, or Accountable Care Organization preferred
- Proficient in MS Office applications and ability to learn department and job-specific software systems
- Demonstrate high attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy

Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility for the Senior Data Analyst is to support Wellvana in providing high quality patient care and meeting quality and value-based outcomes through the management of large clinical data sets and application of advanced data analytics. The Senior Data Analyst will also be responsible for supporting the strategic needs of the company and helping to answer diverse business questions and initiatives. This role will work closely with leadership and the clinical operations teams in Wellvana markets.
