• Lead the company’s quarterly S&OP (SIOP) process
• Receive and translate customer forecasts into internal material forecasts and purchasing recommendations
• Manage, disaggregate and execute the demand plan, by customer, by branch and by SKU
• Monitor sales against forecast (forecast accuracy) and recommend forecast adjustments
• Monitor and manage actual/target inventory coverage levels against forecast
• Identify problem/shortage SKU’s and work with partners to expedite
• Identify inventory overstocks and work with partners to disposition
• Oversee new program launches as it relates to inventory planning
• Ensure that statistical data, status reports, and graphical reporting aids are completed and continually modified to meet the needs of the department
• Produce purchasing recommendations for key vendors
• Provide day-to-day guidance and/or coaching to team members, including transferring knowledge to team members and end users
• Provide back-up for Manager, Supply Chai
