SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Security engineering experience is preferred but not a must.
- BS in EE Engineering or equivalent is required.
- AC and DC circuitry, voltage drop calculations and wire sizing.
- Basic knowledge of network and system security principles, not only in theory.
- Executing enterprise engineering techniques.
- Proven experience managing workload and pressure situations.
- Computer skills to include: AutoCAD and MS Office. Revit familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Basic working knowledge of Electronic Security Systems and features.
- Be able to differentiate between technical and contractual issues.
- Reviewing specs and putting drawing packages together
- Ability to scrutinize specified parts and fitness for particular purposes.
- Ability to issue RFIs and maintain formal communication.
- Review and release Bills of Material for purchasing.
- Review of salesperson’s BOM to ensure proper parts or discontinued parts are substituted.
- Be able to differentiate between technical and contractual issues, create and respond to formal notices, and analyze and submit the schedule impact of these changes.
- Schedule work and communicate effectively to peers.

- Be prompt, reliable, and on time in all aspects of your engagement while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Perform any additional duties as required or assigned.
