Description:
About the role
In this exciting role, you will develop new bipolar discrete semiconductor diodes/rectifiers. You will be in close contact with Nexperia’s Hamburg-based and international development teams, wafer fab and assembly sites.
What you will do
- Define, develop and release silicon-based PN- and Schottky diodes/rectifiers
- Take the lead for the product- and process architecture and product performance in development projects
- Manage technical and quality requirements and drive related solutions
- Competitive benchmarking of Nexperia’s products and technologies
- Lead small or medium sized product creation or optimization projects
- Build up a competency network. Contribute to product roadmaps
What you will need
- Master or PhD degree in semiconductor physics or technology, microelectronics or similar
- Minimum 3 years of working experience, depending on educational credentials
- Knowledge of semiconductor devices, industrial semiconductor technology and product development
- Team player with a strong drive for success
- Fluency in English, conversational in German and/or Mandarin desirable
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly self-motivated and team-oriented attitude
