We are seeking a Senior Director, Project Management in our FSP, Project Management Team.
Geographically Located in either: North America OR EMEA region and is remote based.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification .

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 15+ years). 7+ years of Clinical Project management responsibility
  • Advanced leadership skills
  • In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Capable of working independently and exercising independent judgment to assess sponsor regulatory needs and work with project team members to producing compliant deliverables
  • Advanced, broad understanding of global/regional/national country requirements/regulatory affairs procedures for clinical trial authorization, licensing, lifecycle management; expert knowledge of ICH and other global regulatory guidelines; in-depth understanding of a regulatory specialty areas, such as clinical all clinical trial phases, operational and project management of projects
  • Advanced understanding of medical terminology, statistical concepts, and guidelines
  • Outstanding analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills, including complex evaluations of intangible variables
  • Expert financial acumen with an in-depth of knowledge and practical application of budgeting, forecasting and resource management
  • Accomplished executive presence and consultation and presentation skills
  • Superior critical and strategic thinking skills that accounts for a broad impact

Responsibilities:

Accountable for the career development and performance management of a group of project delivery direct reports in line with The Core People Manager Expectations at the organization.

  • Partners with project team leadership and key stakeholders (i.e OD, SLT, BPL, DevOps, functional leadership) to ensure areas of development, training needs and coaching are aligned through routine and active engagement.
  • Provides coaching, soft skill and technical skill development to grow our Project Delivery talent.
  • Provides support/direction to direct report(s) with regards to knowledge of organization systems, processes and tools within Project Delivery.
  • Liaises with Resourcing Leads, TU Leadership and other key stakeholders to advocate for direct report(s), ensure appropriate project assignment(s) and balance between career development and business needs.
  • Fosters collaboration and connections amongst peers.
  • Cultivates high quality relationships with each direct report to create a trusting environment .
  • Utilizes metrics to drive performance.
  • Identifies opportunities and implements initiatives in development of career, skill development and retention and growth strategies
  • Oversees the overall delivery of the project (quality, time, cost) on behalf of the organization.
  • Establishes and communicates customer expectations to the project team.
  • Serves as a point of escalation and ensures pathways are adhered to internally and externally
  • May participate/Chairs project risk management meeting
