Human Resources Consulting Group
The Human Resources Consulting Group (HRCG) Senior Director leads and provides oversight to a centralized team of HRCG colleagues principally responsible for broad HR consulting services to people leaders and associates across the organization. This job partners with client-aligned Business Area HR Leaders (BHRLs) and other People Team Centers of Excellence (COEs) to ensure the HRCG delivers a distinctive, consistent, and scalable experience for people leaders and associates.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Plans and aligns resources to execute on the human capital plan for multiple client groups.
  • Partners with the business and talent management/attraction colleagues on key talent initiatives (e.g., workforce planning, hi-potential employee development, succession planning).
  • Provides coaching to senior people leaders on behavioral and performance management issues, actively participating in and leading meetings as required.
  • Manages performance of HRCG colleagues through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of team objectives and engagement, motivation, and development.
  • Facilitates ad-hoc roadshows across multiple lines of business to continue to build awareness and increase appropriate adoption of HRCG.
  • Reviews and assigns projects and/or inquiries to other HRCG colleagues.
  • Delivers exceptional HR consulting services and solutions on highly complex matters.
  • Performs intake for upcoming projects and/or initiatives to provide role clarity and influence successful execution and change adoption.
  • Identifies and supports the implementation of technology and automation solutions to drive new levels of efficiency and ensuring people leaders and associates have effective and easy access to HR tools and resources.
  • Monitors team goals, development plans, and performance against a standardized set of measures, while ensuring career development in the HR and consulting disciplines.
  • Serves as a point of escalation for and professional resolution of issues and matters being managed by HRCG.
  • Takes initiative and conducts follow-up to ensure associate and business issues are resolved in a satisfactory and timely manner consistent with all company policies.
  • Develops, maintains, and strengthens relationships with key business partners to enable team effectiveness and ensure the delivery of service and value.

Educational Requirements

  • University (Degree) Preferred

Required:

  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • 7+ years of Human Resources experience.
  • 5+ years of HR business partner experience.
  • 2+ years leading others through cross-functional projects and/or initiatives.
  • 1+ years of experience providing coaching and consultation in a centralized HR business partner operating model.
  • Bachelor’s Degree; Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related degree field.
  • Proven ability to handle employees relations matters.
  • Ability to apply analytical thinking, HR consulting skills, and contracting and influencing skills.
  • MS Office Suite, PowerPoint, and Advanced Excel Experience.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both one-on-one and in groups.
  • Ability to effectively deliver solutions in a fast-paced environment and prioritize workload.
  • Ability to build relationships and credibility quickly.
  • Ability to evaluate and solve complex problems.
  • Able to travel 10-15% based on business needs.

Base Pay Range: $160,000/yr. - $190,000/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
