JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Vice President of Global Marketing, the Director of Product Marketing will have the exciting opportunity to manage and grow the Product Marketing function. Working cross-functionally with Marketing, Line of Business leaders, Product, Sales, and other Go-to-Market (G2M) functions, you will play a pivotal role in leading the Product Marketing team. This includes enhancing the customer journey through strategic development of messaging, positioning, and distribution/promotion strategies aimed at driving customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. You will also inform our business and product strategies with comprehensive market intelligence to ensure continuous delivery of innovative solutions that meet our customers’ evolving needs. Additionally, you will develop and present client-facing roadmaps tailored for both internal stakeholders and external audiences.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of progressively responsible marketing experience
  • Background in Commercial Real Estate, Proptech, Financial Services, Fintech or professional services
  • Track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies
  • Demonstrated expertise in being commercially minded
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building a highly engaged and collaborative team, coaching, hiring and upskilling as needed
  • Experience in value proposition development, product research, product launches and informing campaign strategy
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with all levels within an organization
  • Strong analytical background with demonstrated ability to convey complex ideas to relevant internal and external audiences

Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a talented team responsible for conducting thorough market analysis, gathering competitive intelligence, and developing product and launch positioning, messaging, and promotional strategies.
  • Help team members track progress against key results and help balance priorities with strategic initiatives
  • Coach team on developing product positioning and messaging that resonates with customers and articulates the unique value of Altus’ capabilities
  • Stay connected to industry trends, competitive landscape and client needs through research and in-depth segment analysis
  • Leverage data-driven insights to ensure commercial strategies, new solutions and any related messaging drive inform and deliver significant client value
  • Help team prioritize the campaign and enablement materials needed to successfully support or launch capabilities
  • Provide support for go-to-market programs (including new releases and launches) through collaboration with product, lines of business leaders, research and marketing teams
  • Lead multiple projects concurrently
  • Influence and collaborate with cross-functional partners across all levels of the organization – especially in support of strategic
  • Ensure understanding of investments being made across the business (through the product roadmap and associated presentations/enablement materials)
