The Sr. Director, Research and Design is an executive leadership position in DaVita’s Product organization. The position is responsible for leading a high performing team that delivers research and/or design that helps achieve measured product satisfaction and ROI goals.
The position will be responsible for leading the discovery and design of solutions to address healthcare’s most complicated challenges for constituents including physicians, patients, hospital staff, dialysis teammates, integrated care teammates, and more.
The solutions will center around digital products & capabilities, but will extend to recommendations that includes people, process, facilities, and policy to address the opportunities comprehensively.
The position will own the strategy, roadmaps, execution, and measurement of the efficacy of the recommended and designed solutions.
The position’s team will be expected to lead workshops, perform extensive field research, conduct online/distance research, synthesize & package researcher learnings, partner with data science for true quantitative supplement, catalog research, develop visual prototypes, wireframes, design files, and more.
The position will lead executive readouts and work very closely with Product professionals to influence the creation of product roadmaps that are based on sound research/data.
The position will be measured by the success of the products that their research and design inform, including clinical outcomes and productivity improvements.
This is a hybrid role based in Denver, Colorado with 20% travel.

Qualifications and Experience:
