As the Senior Director, Total Rewards, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Otis’ global compensation programs and practices to ensure Otis is leading the competition in terms of our ability to attract, retain, incentivize top talent, and win in the market. In this key position, you will lead a team within Otis’ Total Rewards Center of Expertise (COE) responsible for our global competitive pay strategy, compensation practices, job architecture, and job evaluation framework.
This role reports directly to the Senior Vice President, Global & Executive Compensation, is location flexible, and can be fully remote, hybrid, or on-site depending on location and preferences.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead market pricing and salary structure development for Otis across 75+ countries. Develop and deliver competitive analytics to monitor competitiveness across geographies and functions, ensure effective budgeting for annual salary/merit programs
  • Expand market data and salary structure availability to HR and managers. Educate managers and HR on competitive practices to guide appropriate positioning and decision-making
  • Responsible for Otis’ job architecture and job evaluation governance and processes. Ensure consistent internal governance, alignment to external benchmarking, and enhance the organization’s understanding of job evaluation practices. Drive releveling efforts and change management where required to align with global standards
  • Establish and lead a pay equity and pay transparency COE. Utilizing analytics and education, drive appropriate pay equity outcomes, and maintain compliance with global pay equity and pay transparency requirements
  • In partnership with other key HR and Total Rewards stakeholders, strengthen global compensation capabilities and practices by deploying a Total Rewards playbook. Deliver training and education to drive consistent application across geographies
  • Partner cross-functionally to identify opportunities to leverage tools, technology, and processes to improve compensation business processes, operational execution, and efficiency
  • Ensure effective communication of compensation programs, processes, and practices to enhance colleague understanding and drive effectiveness

Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven track record in a strategic global compensation leadership role, demonstrating a deep understanding of market benchmarking and job evaluation
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and transformation in a global, matrixed environment
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, influencing, and project management skills
  • Strategic mindset and strong analytical capabilities to model, forecast, and assess program costs and monitor effectiveness
  • Willingness and desire to roll up sleeves and provide hands-on expertise where needed
