Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
The Sr. Specialist Digital Content owns the planning process and coordination of promotional assets on AutoZone.com. Will act as primary point person for identifying content and promotional opportunities with the Digital Experience, Merchandising and Marketing teams and getting them executed on AutoZone.com.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or similar field preferred or equivalent years of experience
Experience in project or product management, retail industry preferred
Experience or understanding of digital touchpoints (online, mobile, display advertising, SEO, paid search, email)
Understanding of product lifecycle
Brand, advertising and/or marketing communications experience
Perform business analytics and tracking.
Assist in product, segment and category support for growth initiatives.
Take both a lead and supporting role in executing marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with the Merchandising/Merch-Marketing teams to develop online merchandising strategies that support the current retail strategy and Omni channel focus.
Develop FY objectives, strategies and tactics for assigned areas of focus. (Traffic, Sales, content layout/type)
Develop knowledge on categories, attend Merch reviews, track sales and competitive activity.
Recommend vendor funding opportunities leveraging onsite assets, partnerships, etc.
Coordinate with cross functional teams and agencies on promotions, marketing campaigns, pricing, inventory (FFC).
Work collaboratively with the in-house creative team to generate the appropriate digital content to optimize online campaign themes and performance. Understand process flow and manage effectively.
Facilitate required online merchandising asset availability (i.e. images, copy) for content management team. Work to create landing pages, links, URL’s, pickup information.
Ensure that all digital marketing platforms are consistent with messaging and optimized for conversion without sacrificing an on-brand and seamless customer experience.
Promotions tracking, coordination, and post-campaign results reporting. Log promotional pricing and analyze the effectiveness of the promotions. Ensure site product offering is aligned with e-commerce promotional calendar.
Keep management up to date with reports on promotional plans, customer needs, challenges, requests, and competitive analysis for site design, promotions and stories.
Manage vendor funding (forecast, signed approvals, budget).
Consistently monitor the accuracy of product content, availability, etc.
Ensure digital circular is up to date and accurate.
Will have some management responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Build and leverage cross-functional expertise to influence digital/eCommerce strategies and initiatives.
Create and implement opportunities for process improvements.
Maintain full understanding of all communication channel plans; help drive collaboration across channels.
Be proficient on all tools needed: Jira, Zeplin, Oracle Experience Manager.
