Job Summary: We are seeking a talented SR&ED Analyst to join our team. The SR&ED Analyst will be responsible for working with our clients to document and prepare SR&ED claims. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science, technology, or engineering, with excellent analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- SR&ED Claims Research: Identify and document eligible R&D activities and expenditures.
- Technical Documentation: Collect and organize technical and financial evidence related to SR&ED projects. Prepare detailed project descriptions that demonstrate eligibility for SR&ED tax credits.
- Compliance: Ensure all claims comply with SR&ED program requirements and CRA regulations. Stay updated on changes to SR&ED guidelines and industry best practices.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current business processes and identify potential areas of improvement.
- Collaboration: Liaise between various business departments and key stakeholders to ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation of R&D activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- 3+ years of professional experience in a relevant technical field.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to correspond effectively both internally and externally.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in analyzing and documenting scientific or technological advancements.
