WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Degree in mechanical / automotive engineering or equivalent qualification
• Experience in automotive battery design and control system development
• Motivation and openness to deep dive into the area of electrified powertrain development and homologation topics
• Willingness to travel and valid European driving license B
• Excellent analytical skills as well as problem solving mentality
• A very good command of English, intercultural & communication skills
• Proficient in presenting, reporting and handling Microsoft applications like PowerPoint and Excel

• Develop battery designs optimized to be sustainable and recyclable
• Identify suitable processes for recycling and remanufacturing of batteries
• Develop technologies and processes for battery End of Life and support integration and development of related business models
• Support homologation department to prepare our batteries for future law compliance
• Join internal company and external organization standardization processes
• Support development of advanced analytics to support fleet handling of electrified vehicles
• Cooperating closely with other HMETC departments and R&D Center in Namyang (South Korea) and handing over all related information with precision and accurate wording
