WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Degree in mechanical/ automotive engineering
• Min. 3 years of related experience in the area of chassis controls system tuning an automotive OEM or tier 1 supplier
• Experience on premium vehicles will be considered a plus
• Knowledge, interest and passion in the field of vehicle dynamics
• Good subjective evaluation skills in ride and handling areas (e.g. damper systems, steering, ESC and chassis components)
• Proven ability for vehicle control up to the limit
• Interest in innovative vehicle dynamics technologies with an overview of the relevant market trends
• Willingness to travel and valid European driving license B
• Excellent analytical skills as well as a problem solving mentality
• A very good command of English, intercultural & communication skills
• Proficient in presenting, reporting and handling Microsoft applications like PowerPoint and Excel

• Development of ride & handling performance and steering characteristics
• Subjective evaluation and benchmarking of ride, (limit) handling and steering characteristics
• Tuning of chassis controls systems such as air spring, active roll control, rear wheel steering, Steer-by-Wire, etc.
• Performance target definition for components and systems of new vehicle projects
• Project planning whilst ensuring optimal usage of budget, resources and timeframe
• Documentation and presentation of project & development results
• Close cooperation with HMETC departments and R&D Center in Namyang (South Korea)
