Description:

You will be responsible for

  • Modelling and simulation of electrified propulsion systems focusing on vehicle energy management and performance
  • Development of vehicle, system and component level models and validation of them
  • Integration and commissioning of models in various XiL environments, support development of XiL platforms
  • Generation of novel solutions to complex problems, using big data methods and exploit ML/AI approaches in simulation
  • Design &develop future virtual development methodologies and contribute to new vehicle projects
  • Requirements definition, project planning and execution whilst ensuring optimal usage of budget, resources and time
  • Documentation and presentation of project & development results
  • Close cooperation with HMETC departments and R&D Center in Namyang (South Korea)

Who we are looking for

  • Degree in mechanical, automotive, electronics, mechatronics, controls engineering or similar
  • Very good understanding of electric/hybrid propulsion systems, physical relationships and their working principles
  • Experience in modeling& simulation tools like Matlab/Simulink and preferably with AVL CruiseM
  • Experience in high level programming languages and vehicle network simulations (e.g CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet) are a plus
  • Valid European driving license B
  • Excellent analytical skills as well as a problem solving mentality
  • A very good command of English, intercultural & communication skills
  • Proficient in presenting, reporting and handling of Microsoft Office tools
