Johnson & Johnson Surgical Vision is recruiting for a Senior Finance Analyst in the Principal, Inventory & Costing (PIC) team, supporting Inventory for Surgical Vision. The preferred location for this position is Zug, Switzerland, but qualified candidates from Ireland or the US would be considered as well.
The PIC team is part of J&J Vision’s Supply Chain Finance organization, and has the following mission statement: Our purpose is to bring consistency and clarity in highly interdependent supply chain finance processes, using our global footprint to promote process excellence and build bridges across the functions. We are looking for a Dynamic Senior Finance Analyst that will play a crucial role to bring this purpose to life, as the Surgical Vision business is currently progressing through a pivotal strategic change journey with high visibility and responsibility for the broader PIC team.
Process Automation
- Continuously challenge the existing processes and procedures and drive process automation.
- Explore the further use of advanced analytics tools to simplify processes or provide improved data-driven insights and visualization.

Responsibilities:
Financial Close & Compliance
- Consolidate the worldwide inventory report.
- Reporting out of inventory metrics and provide analytics supporting bridges to financial plans and historical actuals.
- Calculation of DOS, inventory reserves and other ad hoc analytics.
- Preparation of journal entries and ad hoc close tasks. Ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Support the inventory SOX cycle and related compliance activities.
Financial Forecasting
- Collaborate closely with the Plan organization and regional commercial finance teams to forecast net inventory for all major forecasting cycles (BP/JU/NU) as well as monthly glidepath based on latest IBP cycle.
- In collaboration with PIC, Make, and Commercial finance teams, have a comprehensive gross and net inventory forecast understanding ensuring we show a coherent story across P&L and Balance Sheet that ties in with business drivers.
- Support Mid Term and Long Range Financial Planning (MTP / LRFP) and business case support or ad-hoc inventory related financial modeling.
Process Automation
