Description:
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
- A recognised degree in Accountancy/ Finance or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Proficient in financial modelling/ simulation.
- Proficient in business analytics including use and interpretation of basic statistical methods and reports.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Relevant working experience in healthcare would be a bonus.
Responsibilities:
JOB PURPOSE
To assist the Deputy Director, Finance in the following:
- Financial modelling of the Group’s selected strategic initiatives and provide support to various cross-functional stakeholders within NHG;
- Develop and implement a population-based funding model (including determination of funding principles, methodologies and rates) to support population health activities/ programmes;
- Review population health funding requests as well as new population health and/ or primary care patient payment proposals;
- Review adequacy of funding for national population health schemes and provide Finance operational support for the implementation of some of these schemes;
- Consolidate, monitor and report overall population health funding utilisation as well as related financials of various population health initiatives/ programmes;
- Work with various Finance stakeholders to prepare for the implementation of new Financial accounting system, including harmonisation of financial operating processes; and
- Handle any other work in relation to population health financing and other financial related matters as and when assigned.
