Description:

We are in the process of recruiting a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team in NILES, Illinois, United States. This role is a vital part of our finance team, primarily responsible for providing accurate reporting and analysis to key stakeholders. The successful candidate will work closely with our Supply Chain and Finance teams, focusing on areas such as Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) estimates, Transportation P& L forecasting/budgeting, and network optimization projects.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with various teams to calculate COGS, taking into account factors such as commodities, manufacturing conversion rates, and transportation expenses.
  • Performing cause of change analysis in comparison to previous years to provide insights into COGS changes impacting P& L.
  • Maintaining accurate product sourcing and providing updates as new requests emerge.
  • Developing routine forecasts and an annual budget for the Transportation team’s P& L.
  • Analysing month-end Transportation variances and creating an executive summary of the results.
  • Supporting the logistics team on strategic projects, including sourcing decisions and make vs. buy analysis.
  • Utilizing strong analytical and quantitative skills to support decision-making processes.
  • Demonstrating the ability to work independently and make decisions using sound judgment.
  • Proficiently using Microsoft Office Suite or related software to perform tasks.
  • Utilizing knowledge of various systems and their functionality, including Business Intelligence tools.
  • Must hold a senior role in Financial Analysis.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in CapEx.
  • Ability to utilize CRM tools effectively.
  • Knowledge of Data Mining Techniques to analyze financial data.
  • Experience in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.
  • Familiarity with various ERP Solutions in the market.
  • Proficiency in using the ‘About Time’ software.
  • Deep understanding of Accounting Functions.
  • Experience with Budget Processes in a financial setting.
  • Expertise in Expense Reporting.
  • Strong understanding of Finance principles and practices.
