Qualification and Experience

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/ geotechnical engineering. Post-graduate degree in related field is an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum fifteen (15) years of professional experience
• Minimum twelve (12) years experience as geotechnical engineer in the Detailed Engineering Design (DED) and/or Construction Supervision of road and/or bridge projects with at least five (5) years as senior geotechnical engineer.
• Minimum seven (7) years experience working with or alongside an international financing institution, firm, or organization for infrastructure projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct a quality control review on geotechnical and foundation engineering of the detailed engineering design and recommend adjustment/ improvement as necessary.
• Arrange and manage the execution of soil investigation and laboratory tests with the Contractor.
• Check and approve the results of the soil investigations and laboratory tests.
• Provide recommendations for the design and improvements of slope protection and foundation works.
