Description:

SUMMARY

The primary objective of this position is to provide daily operations pertaining to the hourly workforce at the manufacturing plant. Essential duties are maintaining timekeeping for hourly payroll, benefits issues, employee file maintenance and Talent Center database management. This role acts in the HR capacity at all times and will fill in for questions and support in the absence of the Regional HR Leader.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

The employee should hold the following abilities:

  • This is a Special Skills position, which requires approximately 6 months of training to reach desired performance levels.
  • Must understand verbal and written instructions
  • Must be self-motivated to work independently and in a group
  • Must perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Able to think under pressure, make quick decisions, and act as a decision maker.
  • Able to communicate proficiently in English
  • Attention to detail

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

The employee must possess the following:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency
  • Leadership training
  • Must be able to learn the responsibilities of this position
  • Previous experience in service-oriented role/high human interaction.
  • Clerical or office experience
  • Experience handling sensitive data

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

The employee should possess the ability to:

  • Must be able to squat, bend at the wait and knees freely.
  • Exposure to temperatures extremes
  • Exposure to sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable
  • Bending and twisting
  • Repetitive movements
  • Handle, control or feel objects, tools or control
