Description:
Position Overview:
Responsible for planning and executing all human resource activities within their assigned location(s). Lead and develop
direct reports in all areas of human resources. Promote a culture of innovation and collaboration, working closely with
leaders and employees across the organization. Role requires developing relationships with cross-functional partners to
reduce recurring themes and pro-actively pursue continuous improvement in addition to ensuring alignment and
consistency of policies and programs with Duluth’s mission, values, and leadership principles. Need to connect with
people easily and have a detail-oriented mindset to handle the changing nature of the workforce.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute talent strategies including talent retention, engagement, employee relations, and HRcompliance.
- Leads employee relations investigations. Partners with the Director of Human Resources and business partnersin employment matters to resolve and create solutions that foster a safe and positive work environment.Provide a safe and objective open door for all team members to discuss their issues and concerns.
- Assesses training needs for the Corporate office to include interviewing, hiring, terminations, performancereviews, safety, and anti-harassment. In partnerships with the Sr. Director of Human Resources and the Sr.Manager of Learning and Development conduct a regular gap analysis assessment to determine continuingeducation needs for employees and functional leaders specific to HR compliance and practices.
- Lead efforts to develop and implement strategies that build a diverse workforce, cultivating an environment thatattracts and retains top talent from varied backgrounds. Use Data analysis, to provide regular updates to leadersin the organization on trends.
- Supports the development through engagement with key leaders and Employee Resource Groups to drivecontinuous improvement in building a diverse workforce.
- Provides leadership guidance and support to the HR Generalist(s).
- Develop and maintain strong industry knowledge and connections
- Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
