Responsibilities & Qualifications:

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Human Resources team, located in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Sr HRIS Analyst. This role is responsible for having accurate HR data is the foundation to making quality decisions that contribute to the organization. In the context of predictive analytics, accurate data is needed to gain valuable insights into our workforce, such as identifying drivers of attrition, evaluating candidate quality. The Sr HRIS Analyst is responsible for managing and ensuring the accuracy of HR data and is involved in various HR projects and initiatives that require detailed data analysis and reporting.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent in information systems, data management or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in similar role
  • Solid understanding of HR processes and technology
  • Understanding of data engineering, including the design, development, deployment and ongoing operations of data pipelines to bring data from source destinations into a data lake.
  • Understanding of ETL (extract, transform, load) processes.
  • Experience working with data lakes and data querying and extraction
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong HR data literacy
  • Ability to identify data patterns and trends through detailed analysis
  • Attention to detail and persistence in resolving issues
  • Ability to translate business needs for IT implementation
  • Knowledge of data privacy rules

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters degree or equivalent in information systems, data management or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in similar role
  • Certified data management professional (CDMP)
  • Experience with data engineering, including the design, development, deployment and ongoing operations of data pipelines to bring data from source destinations into a data lake.
  • Experience with ETL processes

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and address HR data quality concerns
  • Develop processes for data correction
  • Develop and implement data quality audits
  • Develop and maintain the HR Data Lake data dictionary
  • Work with stakeholders on preventing recurrence of HR data defects
  • Understands current HR system landscape and known gaps. Works with HRIS and IT to address gaps based on business needs
  • Serves as the connection between the business and HRIS regarding data availability, use cases/needs
  • Document and maintain operational procedures and data dictionary definitions for the HR data lake
  • Data lake expansion: develop use cases, define requirements with system owners and work with IT on implementation
  • Beyond what’s in the HR Data lake, have a thorough understanding of all HR data systems, where the connections exist
  • Conduct audits of HR data to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices
  • Develop processes for provisioning and deprovisioning access to HR systems
  • Define HR access roles and ensure compliance with defined roles
  • Develop and implement data cleaning protocols to remove redundant, inaccurate and outdated information
  • Train HR staff on data management procedures and best practices
  • Assist in various HR projects and initiatives that require detailed data analysis
  • Collaborate with HR team members to understand data needs and provide relevant solutions
