HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

We are looking for a teammate who will join us and help to enhance our infrastructure. Our day to day activities are focused on DevOps development, with a secondary role in SRE and operational support. You’ll contribute to our GitOps approach, leveraging your expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Cloudflare, Terraform, and ArgoCD. We embrace Infrastructure as a Code, GitOps operational framework and automation to ensure our deployments are efficient, reliable and scalable.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategically Enhance and Optimize AWS Infrastructure: Take charge of our AWS infrastructure, focusing on EKS (Kubernetes), and drive strategic improvements for long-term scalability and reliability.
  • Advance CI/CD Processes: Elevate our CI/CD processes, ensuring state-of-the-art automation and efficiency, and integrate best practices for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Enhance Monitoring and Alerting Systems: Develop and maintain advanced monitoring and alerting systems, with a strong preference for experience in tools like Datadog, and introduce proactive measures for system health.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration and Mentorship: Actively collaborate with other teams to support their development processes and infrastructure needs, and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Promote a Culture of Innovation: Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement, aligning with our core values, and encourage innovative thinking and problem-solving approaches.
  • Participate in on-call rotation where you diagnose, mitigate or escalate production issues
