We are offering an exciting opportunity to work for our outstanding client as a Sr. Internal Auditor in Lexington, Kentucky. The role involves supporting internal audit teams, managing financial and operational audits, and ensuring adherence to international and national laws. This role is integral to maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our client’s financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage various financial and operational audits across the organization.
- Analyze records of the company and its subsidiaries to ensure effective and efficient controls.
- Develop and support compliance-oriented programs focused on adherence to relevant laws.
- Analyze data obtained for evidence of deficiencies in internal controls or lack of compliance with laws and regulations.
- Assist with complex audit issues and investigations as needed.
- Support the audit planning process by identifying high-risk areas.
- Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects as requested by the business.
- Proficient in the use of Accounting Software Systems
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute Audit Programs
- Extensive knowledge of Business Systems and their application in auditing
- Experience in managing Accounting Functions
- Proven track record of presenting Audit Findings to Audit Committees
- Proficiency in conducting Auditing exercises in a corporate setting
- Experience in creating and implementing Audit Plans
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation.
