Description:

TRAVEL:

Up to 10% travel required domestic only.
Telecommuting Employee: Reports to company headquarters in Waltham, MA. Can work remotely or telecommute.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field of study plus 6 years of experience in development and implementation of software or information technology systems, or in any occupation in which the required experience can be obtained, or related experience. Employer will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field of study plus 4 years of experience in development and implementation of software or information technology systems, or in any occupation in which the required experience can be obtained, or related experience as an equivalent alternative.
Required knowledge or experience with:
Enterprise software application development, integrations, and architecture using Workday;
Development, implementation, and integration of Workday HCM;
Implementation & Integration of Oracle HCM with multiple systems;
Designing integrations for third-party systems using Workday integrator tools;
Upgrades and implementing cloud-based solutions; and
Business processes, system to system integrations, and information/ platform security.

Responsibilities:

Implement and recommend viable architectural approaches that support long term maintainability, extensibility, and interoperability of enterprise applications.
Work closely with stakeholders to demonstrate solutions, answer questions regarding software capabilities and requirements, and work to resolve issues that arise during the development cycle.
Provide clear guidance to software development teams regarding standards and proactively monitor the adherence to accepted standards.
Conduct code review, security reviews, and architectural reviews, and provide solutions and improvements.
Perform in-depth technical analyses, research, proof of concepts, and evaluations.
Lead architectural assessments, technology selection, technology roadmaps.
Develop and own functional and technical design specifications and data flows.
Contribute to requests for proposals (RFPs) and detailing scope of work.
Participate in cloud initiatives and projects in HR domain.
Act as a conduit between the Enterprise Data Platform team and the HR Analytics team to ensure connectivity and strategic and architectural alignment.
Monitor systems performance and continuously create improvement recommendations.
Identify and mitigate existing business risks or risks associated with solution architecture.
Resolve complex problems spanning across multiple HR applications and workstreams to drive improvements.
Lead technical projects with significant business implications, participate in planning and priority estimates, and advise other HR systems resources.
Lead development of integrated HR solutions to ensure specifications are flexible, scalable, and maintainable and meet architectural standard.
Collaborate with the HR Technology Configuration, Integration and Project Management teams as well as IT, Risk, Facilities, and others to design solution.
Act as advisor for global HR technology related issues and provide consultations regarding opportunities to system capabilities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Examine functional specifications and translate them into system guidelines that shape project development as well as find ways to align projects with enterprise-level systems.
Design the data flow across the systems and work with vendor teams to implement the integrations and data mapping.
Conduct research on existing systems and devise solutions that work with those systems.
