JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provides broad range of operational service / support which may include environment management, maintenance, monitoring, performance and incident management and/or production support activities to enable technology for own area of specialization.
We are seeking an individual to provide administrator level support for Workload Automation tools such as Autosys .
Scheduling Services within ITS Service Assurance Operations is responsible for the administration and support of the enterprise workload automation schedulers and their supporting tools, namely Autosys, CA-7, ACCE, iDash, AAI( Automation Analytics & Intelligence ). We also provide consultation services with application teams as to scheduling design and operational usage.

This Senior IT Operations Analyst position will be involved in support and administration of our workload automation solutions. Including such items as:

  • Product upgrades, including deploying new technologies
  • Assess & analyze optimization opportunities
  • Liaison with vendors in regards to support issues, enhancements, roadmaps
  • Provide day-to-day support with timely resolution to issues.
  • Provide consultation to application teams

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • Must have knowledge of Rest APIs and Scripting(e.g. PowerShell, Python, Shell).
  • Excellent communication skills to deal with end users and third party vendors.
  • Having a solid understanding of Operating Systems (RHEL and Win) and Application Monitoring.
  • Knowledge of Networking, F5, Databases, Application Monitoring would be a definite asset.
  • Role would involve off-hours and on-call support.
